Can NOT save any documents from a new Win 7 PC to an existing XP PC (that is used as a server) thru the network.
It does not ask for a password, it just denies access. I need detailed info I guess on permission rights?? Did not have problems with the last XP PC before the new machine.

1. Check you firewall settings. For shared access you need to open port 445, legacy ports 137-139 allow for visibility.
2. In workgroup configuration every user accout is local one. You access "serbver" with credentials local to "server"
