Can browse web but no connection to networked printers
I am on my HP Pavilion g4 laptop with Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium edition. On my work's network using a wired ethernet connection. I keep seeing the connection icon in my taskbar show the exclamation point and say no internet access, but I am able to view
web pages with my browser.
My biggest issue with this is trying to print to networked printers. I have to go into device manager to disable and re-enable my network card in order to connect and print. However, doing so loses my remote access connections to my campus for my school
work.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? No one else in the office has these issues so I don't believe it is on their end of things. I have tried several ethernet ports as well to no avail.

Hi,
Firstly, I would like to verify whether it show no internet access every time you use this wired connection?
Meanwhile, I suggest you may try the following:
1: Update the network driver.
For detail steps
1. Click on start button.
2. In the search box type devmgmt.msc and then press enter.
3. Select the network card device and right click on it
4. Now select properties.
5. In the properties window, under Driver tab, click on Update Driver button.
6. After the installing the updates restart the computer.

2: Try resetting the TCP/IP stack.

3: Using the Network troubleshooter in Windows 7 and check for the issue to do that follow the below provided link.

No it doesn't happen all the time but pretty frequently.
I have already tried updating the drivers but it says that I have the most up to date drivers..
I will try the other steps though. Thanks!
