I use my laptop (Win XP Pro SP3) at home on Wireless Network and at work on a wired LAN Workgroup (Peer-to-Peer Network, no domains). At work, I use it to run a the client side of an enterprise software with the data repository residing on the server. Recently, the server was replaced with a new one. I can still run the enterprise software with access to data repository. But I can not access the new server or the shared folders on it from my lap top. I can access all other workgroup PCs, including the new ones), and all other PCs can see and access the server PC, and it does show up in my network neighborhood, but can can I access it (gives me error when I try to) nor can I see any of the shared folders on the server. Can't seem to figure out what the problem is or how to fix it. Would appreciate help from someone. Thanks.
