Can you see abutton with text to the lowerleft on your screen when you are in the login-window? If yes, then it should display text, like for example "EN". This is the keyboard layout language. Make sure that this is set to the correct language that your keyboard represents. Windows usually have the language youset as locale during the installation, the languageof the Windows installation, and English asstandard keyboard layouts.Click the button to change the layout language tothe same you used when typingyour password. If you are sure that it is correct you can check if you type your password correctly by typing it in the username slot (when no one is watching). If you see no button during the lowerleft on your screen then you should only have one keyboard layout currently available and activated. Still, try to check if you are typing what you think you are typing by typing the password in the username box when no one is watching. If the keyboard layout is not the problem then you have to try to access the adminstrator account once more by using the method Nikhil described. After startingWindows 7in Safe Mode, click "Switch User". The "Administrator" account shouldbe visible. If it is not, as you have said, you can click on "Other user". Try typing "Administrator" as the user name (without the ") and press Enter. If this works do the following:1 - Open "Control Panel"2 - Open "Administrative Tools"3 - Open "Computer Management". This should open a window with a list on the left side.4 - Doubleclick on "Local Users and Groups".5 - Click on "Users".6 - Find the user that you usually try to log in with and right click on it.7 - Choose "Set password...". NOTE THAT THIS CAN CAUSE YOUR USER TO NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS SOME FILES! See "http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc742463.aspx" for more information regarding that.If this STILL does not work there are a lot of "Boot-CD/DVDs" that can be downloaded that includes tools for the recovery/reset of your password. You should try to google "Reset user password Windows boot CD" or something like that and you are certain to find something that can help you. If not you could always re-install Windows if you are ok with doing that.
