Cannot close an application or process.
I have a program called emerald viewer and it wouldn't close. I tried alt F4, and end task in task manager. In desperation after many attempts I typed shutdown -f in command prompt. I logged out and logged back in. Now it is a process that won't end. I try
end process in task manager, and pskill in command prompt, but nothing works. The only thing that works is to restart my computer. Is there any way to end the application or process? (This is a common problem with me).
I have Windows 7 on my HP G50-112NR Notebook PC.

Did you try the latest version of this software? Please uninstall the current copy from your system and then
download this one instead.
If the issue persists, you can use taskkill.exe by referring to the suggestions in this articles to see if the issue can be resolved:
