Cannot connect Windows 7 to domain which is controlled by licensed Mac OSX 10.5.7 Server
I admit to not being sharpest at network administration but to date I have had no trouble with setting up any XP Pro, Windows 2000 and Vista systems to connect to our office Domain Server running on a Mac OSX 10.5.7 Server. Besides the networking setup in Windows 7 being, well, different, I just cannot seem to get W7 to be recognized, and become part of our domain like our other systems have been so easy to do. The W7 system does connect to Internet. It can print to printers on our LAN. And sometimes the networked computers and shared resources will appear (and dissappear) on this W7 computer that is still in it's own workgroup and always signed on as true Administrator. Any ideas or maybe a checklist I should review?
