Cannot delete folders on local drives
I built a new PC, with 3 hard drives. The C: drive is a 300GB Raptor that replaced a 1TB drive I had purchased. The second is a 150GB Raptor from my old PC. The third it the 1TB drive. All 3 drives have Win7 Pro on them. I want the space back on drives 2 and 3. I have taken ownership of both the E: and G: drives. My ID is in the Administrators group. However, when I try to delete the Windows directory on either drive I get a message that I cannot delete a file without my permission! I'm logged in as me, yet I am, somehow, unqualified to as I want with my software. It is very frustrating. How do I get the rights to delete unwanted files and folders from my system? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Click Start>type diskmgmt.msc in the search box and select disk management from the result. Right-click on 2 and then 3, Delete the volume on disk 2 and 3, create a new simple volume, and format. If you want to multi-boot, then that's another problem.
