Hi,

since the last upgrade from W8 to W8.1, I cannot project my laptop screen to the TV. I have been doing this for years, and it just stopped working after a long windows update. I tried all the following with no success (Windows in french, sorry for the translation):

-turn off/on the computer

-When i select the right channel in the TV, it goes through a "connecting..." and then nothing.

-When i go to in the config pannel, try to select a multiple display, the option is not even there. The only choice possible is display the laptop. 

-When i drag my mouse to the top right, go in search, write and select project a second screen, it says "your Pc cannot use a second screen. Try to reinstall the pilot or replace the garphic card"

-i tried to go see my graphic card, it is a basic microsoft one, for which i upgraded to the lasted version. No difference.

I feel like this new W8.1 doesnt recognize my previous graphic card...

Have you completely removed the current video driver and installed the newest version available?

Do you have a separate video card in addition to the integrated one.
