Cannot renew ip address to connect to home wireless connection
2nd computer lost connection to home wireless network. Troubleshooter detected no ip address but windows could not renew. Answer to question similiar to mine recoomended starting RPC , DHCP client and DNC client. RPC went okay but attempts to start DHCP client gave me error 1075 - The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. Can I fix this with reinstalling Windows XP?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Jack,No we have McAfee Security. I should tell you the problem started when my son downloaded a program called Hitman because he thought he had a virus. He then cancelled system restore for all drives. He said the program told him to. The computer ran very slowly and we could not connect to the internet although our wireless connection showed "connected". I removed the program, re-enabled system restore; but only restore point avaible was 8:34 last night and we were already having problems. When I checked my connection options, the wireless option no longer showed.
