Cannot save Bitlocker recover key to mapped drive
When trying to enable Bitlocker and using the "Save recovery key", the menu does not display one of the mapped drives that points to the user's mapped network share home folder. Is this by design?

Hi, After testing the issue, I saved the recovery key to the mapped drive successfully. First, go to Windows Explorer and check if you can access the mapped drive. If so, when the windows prompts for saving the recovery key, choose second option (Save the recovery key to a file). Under computer list, do you see the mapped drive? If not, try to type the network location address bar manually. If any error is received, please let me know extactly. Hello, I can see the mapped drive under Windows Explorer, but when "saving the recovery key to a file" the mapped drive doesn't appear, however manually entering the network address does work.

Hi, As Manoj mentioned, modify the following group policy. Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/BitLocker Drive Encryption In the right pane, select Choose default folder for recovery password. Enable this policy and enter the mapped drive path. After that, restart the computer to check the result.
