Thank for your help. Although I did as you said, the problem still not solved.I'm using Windows XP SP3, logged on with account Administrator, all of partition of harddisk has been formatted as NTFS.I've tried something as:- Disabled Simple File Sharing (in Folder Options).- Create a new administraotors and logged in and do the same thing but the problem still not solved.- I use cacls command to check my permission of any folder is full control (I can use command to set permission successfullly).- But if I choose properties of a partition, I can see security tab. I take owner of all file in that partition and set permission for all files and directories in that partition but when I get in that partition, view properties of any files or directories, the Security tab is missing.I've search this problem in google but not find any solution for this situation. Can you explain to me why this happen? Thank you.Sorry for my bad in English.

OK ... moving to more esoteric causes ...Since you have XP Pro, it is possible that the Security tab has been disabled by group policy. Try this:Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc then navigate to:Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Windows Explorerthen in the right-hand window look for a value named "Remove Security Tab" and set accordingly. This setting would also appear in the registry at the key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoSecurityTab.HTH & Good Luck, JWPS: Your English is not bad.
