Hi, I have a Windows 7 Pro installation in a SOHO where some IPs are unreachable from IE8 and even ping, but load fine within Firefox, Chrome or other apps. In short, my intuition is that these IPs are unreachable from programs that are an integrated part of Windows, but not from third party apps. This does, however, not make much sense to me. I have tried disabling the firewall and switching to OpenDNS on both the router and the system itself, but it made no difference. Does anyone know of what that might trigger this behavior or have any suggestions for diagnosing the problem? Kind regards,
