Hello. I have this problem: When I try to open Change User Account Control Settings, it opens a windows in blank for a while and then it closes! I have Windows 7 Ultimate, Microsoft Office 2007. AND.. When I try to make changes that needs administrator permissions, they doesn't work!

Hi, Please make sure the user you are logging in has adminstrative priviledge. Based on my understanding, it seems that you are logging in with a standard user and the UAC is disabled at the same time so that it happened. Also, you may boot into Safe Mode for a test.
