Hi FolksI've been a muppet !!The company I worked for has been liquidated and i got to buy my computer. I brought it home and wanted to transfer some files from it to my home network, so I changed the Domain from the 'work-one' to WORKGROUP - thinking this would be simple way of doing that. How wrong was I ?? I have looked on the forums and seen this a was silly mistake. So, I can login using the administrator password but all my data is gone. I had read that it is all 'cached' somewhere but I don't know how to link the computer to it again (I don't really understand how caching works). As the company has closed now, I will not be able to connect the PC back to the server again (that looked to be the easiest way of repair).I would appreciate any helpcheers1 person got this answerI do too
