Changed Network ID, now I can't login?
I setup a network to share info across 3 computers. To do so, I went to Computer Name, clicked on Network ID, selected top option for part of a business network, selected, without a domain, changed Workgroup name to something and got the first 2 computers to connect and login with no issues. On the 3rd computer, when I changed it and did the same thing and restarted the computer, the login I used to use on it no longer worked. I logged in as Administrator and the login I was using before is not listed under the User Accounts, but I can still see all the documents and the login name in the documents and settings folder. How do I change the computer back to the previous Network ID settings so that I can login to the account I used to use? Will a system restore reset the settings back?1 person needs an answerI do too

Found this on another site and I'm hoping this isn't what needs to happen because I don't have access to it: By changing the computer from the domain to a workgroup, you have destroyed the trust between the domain and the machine. In doing so, you have also rendered your domain login credentials as invalid. You need to be physically connected to the domain network, you need to have administrative privileges to the workstation, and you need to have administrative privileges on the domain. Then you can add the machine back on to the domain, after having first deleted the computer's old domain account (unless you've also renamed the computer)
