Changing adapter settings via command line/script
I've been trying to come up with a simple script to help me switch network settings with a double click, but I keep running into an "RPC server is unavailable" error. RPC service is running. I'm using: netsh interface ipv4 set address "Wireless Network Connection" static 192.168.X.XXX 255.255.255.0 192.168.X.YYY

Hi Papaluga, Are you using a VM? Mostly, this issue is caused by so many IP addresses are configured, data corruption occurs; Also, adding a lot of IP addresses to the virtual machine could cause the issue. If so, could you please test the issue in a physical machine on your network environment? Thanks.

No VM being used. The syntax of my command is correct?

The syntax should be fine. Could you please temporarily disable Windows Firewall to test the issue? For more information: Connecting Through Windows FirewallHope it helps. Thanks.

Same result with firewall turned off. I'm trying to do this for a local adapter, not for a remote one. Would this change anything?
