Cisco WebEx and Communicator Presence Issue
Has anyone seen an issue with Cisco WebEx "maintaining" a user's Presence information with the following "In a WebEx meeting" after the WebEx meeting completes? As a short-term fix, the user has to click Reset Status in Communicator to get their
Presence working again as designed.
The only thing I've found on this topic is
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ocsclients/thread/b03812c1-a57e-498b-84f0-4a42c62a5267/
Anyone have an ideas how to troubleshoot this further as I'm pretty sure this has to do with Cisco WebEx (such has the meeting is not closely properly so to speak)?

Hi okontoe,
Please try to add the following registry keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Communicator.
- CustomStateURL = file://C:\\Users\\Username\\AppData\\Roaming\\Webex\\Productivity Tools\\status.xml
- EnableSIPHighSecurityMode = 0x00000000 (DWORD)
Hope helps.

Didn't work for me!! Any other suggestions?
The customstateurl registry entry was correct on my machine, but the EnableSIPHighSecurityMode did not exist, so I added without any success.

I have been trying to fix this for ages. In a company with several 1000 users, we have one user "In a webex meeting" for several months. It only shows when the user is logged into Communicator. If he logs out from OC on his his PC it
goes away. Then if he logs into Communicator Web Access from any PC, it shows again, so it's got to be OCS server related (nothing to do with client software or registry on the WS).

Had both entries already as indicated, and am still suffering the issue.

Have you found a solution to this problem yet?
