Clicking on links in email messages makes the computer hang up or simply won't open
Running Windows XP, Internet Explorer 8. In Outlook Express, when I double click on a link in the body of a message, it turns into the hand and then hangs up, sometimes for several minutes before connecting, but mostly never connecting. Is there something in the settings that could be causing this that may have gotten changed or is this a glitch in the software? Very frustrating. Thanks for the feedback.

Try going to Tools | Internet Options | Programs in IE and set IE as default. If that doesn't fix it, then seewww.oehelp.com/ielnk.aspx steve "Coast Girl" wrote in message news:5fd89b2f-be9e-4e69-bd60-1a648beadb7b...Running Windows XP, Internet Explorer 8.
