Communicator 2007 fails to start on Windows 8.1
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Preview and now Communicator 2007 R2 fails to starts. Tried uninstalling and installing Communicator but still fails
to run.

What kind of error is appearing?
Anyway, this client doesn't support new OS http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/communicator-help/office-communications-server-2007-r2-client-system-requirements-HA010355759.aspx

1) Did you try run client with compatibilty options?
2) What error were you receiving during running client?

Hi,
As R.Levchenko said, please right click OCS client and click Properties and compatibility and choose Windows 7 or XP in compatibility mode.
