Comp crashing more frequent
It started a few months ago, at random my computer will blue screen on me then restart. At first I thought it was over heating so I purchased a new case with more than enough cooing power, but alas it is still shutting down. I downloaded speedfan to check temps and everything is fine. I updated my video card drivers as well as downloading the catalyst controler to check temps... good to go there also. Lastly I downloaded pass marks burn in full system stress test and everything checked fine. See, the odd thing about this problem is that it will blue screen even when there is zero demand on the comp like when I'm sleeping or in town. Well, anyways heres the error report. Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff558949%28VS.85%29.aspx Cause This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code. So, first try to update the ATI catalyst driver. If this doesn't fix it, please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.
