Compatible with Server 2000 domain?
Forgive me if this has been covered to death, but I haven't found it. Are there any issues with running Windows 7 clientswhen the domain controllers are Server 2000?
I was able to join to the domain, log in as a domain user, and browse network directories. However, when I added domain security groups to the local Administrator group, they only show as the SID - not a resolved name. Domain User accounts will show resolved, but not groups.

Open up gpedit.msc and navigate to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options. Look for Network security: LAN Manager authentication level. You may need to set the settings to send LM & NTLM responses on server. When you get there, read the Explain tab thoroughly.
