Configuring/Setting up Windows 7 Default Profile (Version 6.1 Build 7600)
I'm in the process of setting a standard image for my company. I was led to believe that if I configured the environment as I wanted under a local admin account (and it being the ONLY one), that when sysprep was ran, it would copy all of that information and configuration to the default profile. I've had absolutely no luck with the unattend.xml file to assist with this. My company uses Acronis Backup and Recovery v.10 to push and setup images and it doesn't seem to be compatible with .wim files. Can anyone provide any insight or input? I've looked through stuff that has popped up on google and threads on this forum and have no answer. Out of things that I did find, they either didn't work or it made my system unuseable and had to start from scratch. There is always a way...

Hi, Acronis Backup and Recovery is not comatible with wim files. You must make reference computer, then capture wim image with imagex and then disctribute WIM image throught WDS (or you can copy this image on normal Windows install DVD). Make unattend file in WAIK. Then you are not able to make an fail:)
