Connecting Xbox360 BRIDGE
I have 2 computers with wifi, a wireless router, a cable modem, and my xbox360 I would like to let my xbox connect online and access my network so I can get XNA to work. The internet sharing does not work due to the fact that it only shows the laptop that I am using for its wifi.(Internet wise it works on the xbox) but does not do what I need it to do This is what I want my network to look like HardWire WIFI ROUTER --------------- Cable modem | | / \ | ___________| Main LapTop With Wifi | | | Hardwire Laptop 2 With wifi ----------- xbox360 Main Laptop is running windows 7 with wireless Laptop2 is running windows xp with one wireless and one ethernet Router is a WRT110 default settings with WEP disabled. (can change any thing in there if you tell me too.) So on my laptop2 had a hardwire cable from my xbox360 to my laptop which the computer sees I Highlight both connections which are all on auto ip and dns stuff. And make a bridge connection and when I go to the Bridged connection status it would have an IP assiend from "Automatic Private Address" not assigned from my routers DHCP and in a class B sub-net 255.255.0.0 Therefor internet and every thing does not work on the laptop and the xbox360 Things I have tried 1. Auto assigned everything thing. - does not work 2. Keep everything thing auto - and manual assigne the xbox's stuff - does not work 3. Tried ping to Main laptop to xbox and Laptop2 and destionation can not be reached in every step i tried. If there is any help out there It would be very appreciated since i need to do this for my XNA class :(
