Connects to secure wi-fi but doesn't ask for password so can't use connection
If a wi-fi network requires a password, my xp computers say they are connected but don't give me the opportunity to enter a password. Therefore accessing the internet fails. This happened at a restaurant and also on my home network. It says "Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network <network name>". Is there a setting I need to change? And how do I get to it? (My iPod Touch and Kindle asked me for the password and were able to access the internet once I entered the password.)1 person got this answerI do too

Thank you for your prompt response and specific instructions. Unchecking "Enable IEEE 802.1x" solved the problem.
