Constant pausing / lockup

My Lync is continuously pausing. 

I will be typing in Lync it will Lock up and then it takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes to "come back alive".

I've updated Lync to Skype for Business and still same issue.  It is awful trying to use Lync like this...

Usually performance issues with the Lync client is down to hardware and drivers. Please try and update your hardware drivers to the latest manufacturer releases, perform windows updates and test again. Usually the biggest pain is the graphics driver. At least make sure that's up to date

Hi Gwired,

 

Have you checked the resources usage on your computer when the issue occurs ?

Did you see if Lync or other program took up the high CPU and Memory usage at that time ?

 

As Make suggested, its worth to try updating the hardware drivers.

Also please install the KB3054946 for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business), this update fixes some issues.
