I am currently running XP Professional with SP/2 on a Celeron with 1GB memory. ( SP/3 was a dissaster!) The most frequent crashes occur with any Internet Browser but also occur less frequently with all other applications. Have purchased several "Cure all" Packages but none do the job. Have upgraded to latest BIOS version on MB, run extensive memory diagnostics, searched for "malware" with none found, have reformatted hard drive and reinstalled O/S and applications with same results. Has anyone experienced the same problem and if so, were you able to fix?1 person needs an answerI do too

"cure all " programs tend to be snake oilSince you say sp3 was a disaster I suspect your drivers at fault. Have you installed drivers from your hardware makers and NOT winupdate, eg motherboard chipset and other drivers? or PC maker if a large brand name eg Dell / HP or a Laptop
