Can you supply the Stop Error code? It should look like this:0X000000ZZ where ZZ is a alpha numeric code. That code will be able to help us assist you further. ~Alex T.~Windows Desktop Experience MVP~

Hi Inconjunction with the post from Alex.Take a look at the following Screenshot of a typical blue screen error. There are 3 sections with critical information. If we have this information, we might be able to come up with a solution.Otherwise, the only other way is to perform debugging usinfg the dump files. Unfortunately, this is something that we cannot do in the context of these forums. Ronnie Vernon MVP

Hi,Dear Mr. Alex and Mr Ronnie, there the details. First there is an analysis and then the full detail by using "analyze -v":1. Bugcheck Analysis ******************************************************************************* KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpointsthe driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this addressas well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address. Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hardcoded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never havehardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and thesystem is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint ishappening.Arguments:Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handledArg2: 902512a5, The address that the exception occurred atArg3: 8cfa9c40, Trap FrameArg4: 00000000-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------2. I see that the information there says Wrong Symbols. Do you have the Windows 7 Beta Symbol packs? As for how to prevent the BSOD from flashing right click on Computer>Properties. From there on the left side select Advanced System Properties.A windows will pop up. Select Startup and Recovery. From there click the settings button in that area. You will see the option to uncheck the box for auto restart on system failure there.~Alex T.~Windows Desktop Experience MVP~

Hi,Thank you very much, for the information. Sir, I would like to ask that, that by removing that check box, if the keeps on coming as, when went back home today afternoon, that error message appears 3 times within 2 hours with BCCode error code 7e, be and 8e. So, even if the error continues and check box unchecked, will it effect the system in anyway.Beside that I would like to mention that I have a ASUS P5K Deluxe motherboard and the 4 GB RAM at 800Mhz, which I have to configure manually, as the RAM runs by default at 1066 EPP configuration, along with C2Q 2.4 Ghz processor and 8800 GTS vga. I have tried to upgrade the vga driver but of no use. Thanks a lot once again.Aqil

Aqil, I was looking through this thread and I keep seeing references to SYMEVENT, which is a kernel mode driver for Symantec's Antivirus solution. By any chance do you have that installed on your Windows 7 installation? If so, you may want to make sure you have the latest updates toSymantec's Antivirus which hopefully wil have a fixed version of SymEvent.Good Luck
