Control Panel Response Groups Empty/Blank

Good day all - I am starting to tinker around with Response Groups and was going to create my first group. However, when accessing the Response Groups via Control Panel, nothing is labeled. Also, I noticed (running Lync 2010) there is not a service running labeled "Lync Response Group" (not sure if this is required). My account is a member of the CSResponseGroupAdminstrator

Thanks

That may be normal. Can you post a screenshot so we can say for sure?

Check out this article as a walkthrough and see if there's any steps you are unable to take:

The nothing to edit is normal, as there's nothing created.  The service missing is odd.  Do you have other Enterprise Voice services configured?  Is your pool enabled for Enterprise Voice in the topology builder?

Thank you for the excellent screenshot. So with that said, no it is not enabled. Two Questions - 1.) easiest way to achieve to enable. 2.) Also, I can set up users for Enterprise voice and we are currently using Lync Client to make calls via our SIP Trunk to Cisco Callmanager. Enabling this should not effect this functionality? Thanks again for your help.

If that your only Lync pool and you're still configured for EV without that enabled?  I didn't know that was possible.  :)  Interesting.

That said, if you go to the properties on your Standard Edition Pool, you should be able to check that box.  Once checked, you'll need to publish the topology and rerun step 2 of the Lync deployment wizard to add the new roles.  Once the role are added, you'll need to start additional services or reboot.  I'd suggest working with that off-hours and making sure you have a backup of your topology if you need to back out.

Great to hear!  I do want to clarify, you were able to make and receive calls through your mediation server even though this was disabled?

Did you have voicemail as well?

Correct - Our setup is Lync - CUCM - CUBE - SIP. Was able to set users up, create dial plans, routing etc and route the calls using Lync Client and CX600. Keep in mind, all users are not on Lync but about 25 out of 250 were using Lync in DR situations to make calls.
