Copy from slow network
I have problem in copy file from maped shared network connected via vpn throw ADSL connection. In my enviroment there is 35 remote vpn location connected with adsl (4Mb down 512Kb up). Sometiems when I copy file larger then 500KB from some location using explorer copy failed. Copy with other software like Totall Commander or with comand copy with parametar /z always works. Actualy I develop application which use SHFileOperation comand to copy file from remote location and this application also failed with copy. As opposed to Windows 7, copy in Windows XP allways works. Is there any diference in implementation of copy with explorer in Windows 7 or there is flag to set SHFileOperation to copy like copy command with /z parametar. Z. <(-e)kas

Sory for unmark "As answer" but unfortunately, after full testing copy from all vpn-s one remote vpn failed. On this vpn, copy started with 30kb but after 10s slow down to 8kb, then to 3kb and failed. In this situation is intersting that, when I started copy file (from maped drive T: to local drive D:) I cannot change disk in cmd from d:\tmp to t: (cmd command wait until copy failed). If I copy file from cmd with copy comand "Copy /Z t:\file.dat d:\", disk T: is accessible and I can list them. Copy in this manenr alway works. I noticed that copy files with other programs (Total commander) start slowly and then acelerate. Of course copy always works. Copy files from that problematic vpn works on another computers where OS is Windows XP. Z. <(-e)kas
