Create New Folder on Network Location
Has anyone seen this...When I create a new folder on the local machine, I have no problem, but when I try and create a new folder on a network location, you can't see the new folder until you refresh, then you have to rename the folder. This only happens on a network location. Sometimes I have also noticed that the "New Folder" selection is not available.thanks

I have seen that before in every version of Windows since NT4. I forget what the actual fix is, but this is not isolated to Windows 7.

Hi, I cannot reproduce the problem on my side. However, I found the following KB for your reference. File list in the Windows Explorer folder is not refreshed after you create, move, or delete files Does it work? Hope it helps.

I have seen this same issue dragging shortcuts from Firefox into a directory that is on a network share. No update until I hit F5. This problem doesn't exist doing the exact same thing from WinXP.
