I have an issue with a DELL E6400 series running windows XP SP3 on a port replicator - While working connected on my docking station I have no issue if I hot undock (Informed by DELL that this machine will hot undock) and walk away to a meeting connect wirelessly to present or even take it away from my desk without wireless on my return to the docking station the machine locks up hard drive can be seen working flat out nothing showing on screen and no response from the keyboard the only method is to kill the machine and start the unit after a few seconds during boot up I have entered into the BIOS and noticed that the hard drive (250GB SATA) is missing from the Bios and also the boot option. I have installed the latest Bios from the DELL web site.1 person needs an answerI do too
