I have a Dell Laptop which uses Windowx XP Home Edition Sp3. After making changes to the security permissions in the Registry, the system shutdown. I tried to reboot and cannot get to the screeen to login. I have tried all the choices in the advanced menu(F8). I get message an error Due to unknown problem files and progams are being protected. I can do anything past the boot menu. Please advise what I need to to to fix this issue? Also I am using an alternate computer1 person needs an answerI do too
