DISAPPEARING CHARACTERS SINCE UPDATING TO WINDOWS 7
I have a Toshiba computer that was bought with Visa software which worked great and I never had a problem. When I updated to Windows 7 I started to have disappearing characters when I typed and my cursor moving to another position on the page. I contacted Microsoft countless times and they even took over my computer but they never solved the problem. They had me uninstalling and installing the software again but nothing changed. My computer updates my software automatically and I have all the bells and whistles but the problem remains. It is very frustrating and wish there was an answer to solve this problem.1 person needs an answerI do too

It is very frustrating and wish there was an answer to solve this problem.First, this is a Windows XP forum, so problems with "Visa" [Vista] or Windows 7 should be directed to the appropriate forums for those operating systems.Vista Forums: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsvistaWindows 7 Forums: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windows7When you changed to Windows 7, did you do so as a part of "free upgrade" program offered by Toshiba, or did you just go and buy a retail copy of Windows 7 and install it? If you took the latter route, you may not have installed the appropriate Windows 7 drivers ... or your computer may not be fully compatible with Windows 7. I suggest that you ask in the Win 7 hardware/drivers forum . Include in your post the version of Windows 7 that you have. Also include the answers to the above questions as well as the model of your computer and when you bought it. It also would be helpful if you could describe in more detail what was done when someone took control of your computer, including what software was uninstalled and reinstalled.
