DNS Crashing under vista 64
after a while under vista 64 my DNS crashes for internet, i can still access anything using I.P addresses tho, and i have to disconnect and reconnect my internet to fix the problem, any idea how to make this go away? it's *** annoying

Hi, Thank you for your post. I noticed the computer can access websites by using IP addresses, this means the Internet connection is fine. Mostly, this kind of DNS problem can be caused by following the factors: 1.Software conflict problem. 2.DNS service problem. 3.Virus/Trojan. Given the current situation, I have the following suggestions. 1.Check virus/Trojan on the computer. 2.When the issue occurs, please open Command Prompt with Run as Administrator, type the command arp d * and press Enter. Then, test the issue again. 3.Change to another DNS address. 4.Take a Clean Boot. However, if the issue still persists after taking the suggestions above, please run IPCONFIG /ALL and post the results on the forum. After I get the IPCONFIG result, I will do further research on the problem. Thank you for your cooperation. Hope it helps.
