DNS error in Huawei E1750 HSPA USB modem
For 2 days and my connection won't load any single webpage on any browser i tried (IE,Firefox and Chrome) chrome always show me this error: Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server's DNS address. I tried using system restore,turning off the firewall and re-installing the USB modem but no use... What is the problem here? Please help. :'(

Hello, try using your ISP DNS server or 4.2.2.2 as primary DNS server and check again. Use nslookup to check that DNS names can be solved correctly. How can I find out what is my ISP DNS server? Just used the nslookup command before I changed the DNS to 4.2.2.2: DNS request timed out. timeout was 2 seconds. Default Server: UnKnown Address: 86.51.35.18 After changing to 4.2.2.2: Default Server: vnsc-bak.sys.gtei.net Address: 4.2.2.2 Now I got a different error: Error 7 (net::ERR_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out. Still not working...

Please understand DNS server should be assigned automatically by ISP. Go to check TCP/IP setting referring to the following link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-TCP-IP-settings Or you can fill out the DNS server manually referring to the following link: http://www.tech-faq.com/public-dns-servers.html Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Please bypassing the modem, use cable and network adapter to access internet and see the result.
