i can't sign in on facebook. says my DnS NOT RESPONDING. help! all I know is how to turn on my laptop, everything else i know nothing.

If your troubleshooting skills are very limited, this is going to be painful since this is a technical forum. At least to determine if you do indeed have a DNS issue, open a command prompt, type NSLOOKUP, hit enter. Then just type facebook.com. if you get a positive, expected result, then its not a DNS name resolution issue. When browsers provide you with an error message, its usually very generic. Hi, Try this as well. Go to Start menu and type 'run' and press enter. in 'run' type 'cmd'. then a black screen will apear, in the black screen type 'ipconfig /flushdns'. There is a chance that you have the wrong entries in your DNS cache. Thanks, Bahman
