DaRT 7 boot disk creation OS error message
I guess I must not understand something here. I need to create DaRT boot media for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems. My laptop is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. When I run DaRT Recovery Image Wizard using a 64 bit version of Windows 7
I get an error message: "The Windows DVD that you are using should have the matching processor architecture with your operating system."
Is there anyway to create a 64 bit boot image on a 32 bit OS. I'm not trying to install it just burn it to a CD.

The DaRT boot disk will only work on a computer with matching architecture.
create a virtual machine and install Windows 7 64-bit. Create the DaRT media from within the virtual machine.
Generally, you need a 64-bit machine to create the media, 64-bit installation dvd and 64-bit debugging tool downloads for crash analyzer.

Thanks, I'll do that. Just makes a tech have to work a little harder. But I do like the toolset.

Unfortunately yowhen I try to install Win 7 64 bit in VPC it tells me my CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode. I have Dell E6500 with a P8600 processor, which is 64 bit. I think I might be cursed.

That is strange. I checked Dell support for the drivers they have. Try downloading and extracting these AMT-MEI drivers to a usb flash drive or external storage and add in during the installation Intel_AMT-HECI_A03_R279202.exe . They are under chipset.
I can't tell what other driver could be missing to cause the Processor to incorrectly identified.
You could run the Intel processor ID Utility to confirm the 64-bit capable, just to be sure...http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-015477.htm although it seems that all
the core 2 duos are 64-bit
