Data Execution Prevention (DEP)
I am trying to install a program (Software Informer) with a download over the internet that is used and installed with this link by many people and I think is from a trusted source. But when I try to load it, I get a message from the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) section of my Windows XP that says it is shutting down Windows Explorer and then my desktop is turned off and the only way out of this mess for me seems to be to ctrl-alt-delete and log out. I wonder, what is going on and what should I do?1 person needs an answerI do too

Make sure you update your PC and installed latest service pack for Windows (if any).I also recommend you to contact support of that program, this might be known issue. Also you could try to add the software to exception.Just in case run full system scan with Anti-Virus.
