We are getting rid of ISA 2006 and not replacing it.
Does it need to be manually uninstalled from each server like when removing a domain controller or Exchange server or can the ISA servers just be shut down and machine accounts deleted from AD?

Hi,
For the ISA uninstallation, please check the article below. Some configuration information will be deleted when you uninstall the ISA.

Best Regards,
You can just shut it down and reuse the hardware if necessary. Delete computer accounts after you have decided that it isn't to be used anymore.
There's no other object in AD than the computer account (unlike a DC or Exchange server).
Just make sure that the server isn't in use any more... :)
Hi, if you don't mind me asking, what did you end up using instead?
Microsoft: Please release TMG into the public domain if you don't turn it into some other product, like ISA->IAS->TMG etc.
Heck, I'll maintain it!
Nothing. We were not doing much with it and decided it was not worth keeping the old hardware it was running on.
We may get something new in the future.
