Decomssioning Lync 2010 when merged with OCS 2007

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to decomission a Lync 2010 deployment and role back to uisng OCS 2007 after merging the OCS 2007 and Lync 2010 Topologies?

I found the Lync 2010 decomissioning process here - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg195815(v=ocs.14).aspx

This is all straight forward but I don't see it mentioning if it will leave OCS 2007 in a workable state, which is where my concerns lie.

Thanks,

M

I should point out, this is only required for roll back in case something goes wrong during my Lync 2010 deployment.

Thanks

Hello M,

After merging the topology (OCS and Lync). You can roll back on any point of time
however you cannot remove Lync 2010 thread completely.

Because it is updated in active directory schema. It will not affect anything.

Please go ahead and use the same.
