Decrypt a drive Windows 8 RT Don't want Bitlocker!

I was stupid enough to logon to my Windows 8 RT SURFACE tablet with a Microsoft Account and now 2 GB of my 8GB free drive is WASTED with Bitlocker.

32GB tablet, no apps installed and 6GB is stolen for hidden partitions and now 2GB for bitlocker.

I absolutely hate bitlocker. It is clunky and FAR more of a pain then it ever is a benefit. There is no space to store anything on the drive anyway.

Microsoft forced my drive into encryption mode without my consent. Now I can't even turn it off.

I tried manage-bde -off c: but no luck. It says it isn't supported.

I have 2 32GB ipads and they backup entirely to the computer so no back partitions required.

Thanks for your information. Bitlocker on W8 RT only happens when you have specified a Microsoft Account. This is so we can capture that recovery key. On RT I am unaware of any way to reverse the bitlocker option once it has been implemented.

This designs for security consideration. Having a portable secure device is a good thing. I have reported it to our product team and they are aware of this. You can also submit a idea about Windows product on http://connect.microsoft.com. Thanks for your understanding.
