IMHO: These may be two different mechanisms. On stand alone W 7 save users their documents by default into local folder named My Documents In network configuration (workgroup, active directory, etc) , there may (or need not) be redirected repository on server that is default repository, or default home folder. Documents are not saved locally. Instead they are saved on the server and are accessible from other computers that are connected via network. Regards milos
