Deleting document from external drive
I have Windows 7 and am unable to delete a document stored on my thumb drive (Kingston). How do I do that??

There could be many reasons, including what kind of file type, whether the Kingston drive is using that file to provide security software when attached, etc. What's the name of the file that cannot be deleted, with the file extension as well? Maybe that will reveal some additional clues. Also, can it be deleted when used on a WinXP or Vista system?

Hi Mongak,
If only one file cannot be deleted, I suggest you try a third party tool, Unlocker.
Note: The third-party product discussed here is manufactured by a company that is independent of Microsoft. We make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability.
1. Right click on installation file and click Run as administrator to install it.
2. After finishing the installation, right click on the file which you want to delete and click Unlocker to remove it.
Whats the result?
