Deleting network passwords
I forgot the network for my home computers. Can someone please tell me how to delete the network passwords for my home network? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on one machine, Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit and on the sever, as I call it I have Windows 7 beta. Windows 7 sees all the computers but when I click on them it asks for a password. Hense I have to change it or delete the need for the password. Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Hi, You can disable Password protected sharing on your Windows Vista computer to resolve the problem. Open Network and Sharing Center, under Sharing and Discovery, please choose Turn off password protected sharing. Thanks.

Vista Home Premium or Ultimate cannot be a member of a Homegroup from Win7. Change to a "Work network" in the Win7 Network settings.Rating posts helps other users Mark L. Ferguson MS-MVP
