Hi, I have vista home edition on my lab top. I Can't connect to the internet. It can't find the network and shows "Red-X" at the icon and network is "unknown" I have tried many of the suggested posted such "netsh winsock reset", "netsh int ip rest" and sfc /scannow but none worked. The sfc /scannow won't run and says window resource protection not valid or something like that....I also replaced this nlv...somthing file but still doesn't work.... Any help is greatly appreciated
