Disable UAG Mobile Access Portal
We have deployed to production a UAG trunk that is consumed mostly by tablet (iPad) users. Most of the time the standard logon screen appears (username / password). Occasionally, for reasons that I cannot pinpoint, the standard logon pages are
replaced with the "Mobile Access Portal" logon screen. If the user on their iPad clears their cookies and then goes back to the site the standard logon pages then appear.
A couple of questions:
- What is triggering the Mobile Access Logon page as opposed to the standard page?
- Is there a way to disable that mobile logon feature altogether?
It is confusing for the user when they see the standard page and then sometimes get the page that is asking if they would like to set a PIN.
Thanks in advance.

Did you ever find an answer?

No, I don't think I ever found an answer to this question. I believe in our case, "tell the user to just clear their cache and cookies" was just absorbed into the Helpdesk responses if a user ever calls in with the issue. No real solution.
Sorry.

Which Browser are you using and its version ?

Thanks for your reply. You could consider this issue closed. We are moving away from UAG (product is reaching EOL anyway). I devoted a lot of energy into UAG over the years, sorry to see the product go away but sometimes that is just
the Microsoft way.

You can try adding this URL in the Compatibility mode in IE, it should fix it.
