Disable constant syncing for WMDC
Hello, I have a Windows CE device that is partnered with my PC and set up to sync a database for a third party application through WMDC. The issue I am having is that WMDC ends up syncing the handheld every single time I log on to or even unlock my PC. This creates an annoying popup on the PC that slows me down, as well as having some annoying consequences on the handheld. While WMDC is so wonderfully designed to have almost no customizable options for the user, I did notice that there are a number of registry keys for the partnership in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services. It looks like some of these values control the options I would like to set, but I have no idea which are effective and/or what they do. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks, Bryan

Hi, According to your description, I suggest to contact WMDC forum for further help: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/forum/wp6n-sync The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding. Regards, Leo HuangLeo Huang TechNet Community Support

Leo, This is not an issue with Windows phone. I'm a little confused as to why you're referring me to a Windows phone forum... Bryan
