I store all my downloads on my main computer, but sometimes I want to use those files on another machine over my wireless LAN. I just noticed that when I open up the folder from a remote machine, everything looks relatively normal except that I can't find certain zip files even though they show up plainly on my main machine. If (from the remote machine), I go up a couple of folder levels and search *.zip, I can see some zip files on the main machine, but not others. It seems to be the larger zip files that are invisible on the remote machine because the ones I am seeing are less than about 12.5 Mb and the ones I am missing are larger than that. The missing zip files are also folders for driver updates, but I doubt that has anything to do with their being invisible on the remote. I can find no reason or no setting for that. I have Win7 Ultimate, 64-bit. Has anyone seen this before?
