Disappearing emails
I was in my Microsoft Outlook Inbox yesterday, had replied to am email and was composing my reply when I double-clicked the calendar icon in my task bar. I selected November to look at dates and the next thing I knew the calendar window closed and I was back to my Outlook Inbox and the message I was composing. I sent the message and then noticed that only 3 of the 31 messages that were in the Inbox remained. I have looked around and checked various other folders and cannot locate the missing messages. However, this morning there is a Sent message dated November 3 in my Sent folder. This is the message I was composing and sent when I had the problem yesterday. Can anyone suggest what may have happened or how I might be able to locate my missing emails? Thank you!1 person got this answerI do too

Hey Pkeleher,Thank you for visiting the Windows XP forumI was wondering who is providing you your email? Is it a third party provider like yahoo or hotmail, or is it on a Microsoft Exchange Server? You also might have created rules for your mail to move into other folders. Please check your rules on you email. Also this might happen by not configuring you email account. Please follow the link below to re setup your email. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/oe/setup.mspxLet me know if this helpsGeorgio Microsoft Answers Support Engineer Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think
