Disc Check run on every start
I recently ran disc check on my Pc for the first time. All seemed well except that it tries to run each time I start my computer. How can I unschedule this?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello zxcbob Have a look in the Msconfig>Boot.ini tab. Make sure that "/SOS" is unchecked in the Boot Options section. If it is checked then it will cause chkdsk to do check on every boot. If you continue to have the problem with CHKDSK then from a command prompt window (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt) At the prompt type CHKNTFS /D (there is a space before /) Enter Reboot Chkdsk will run again, but hopefully that will be the last time it does so.
